Enjoying December

Our family has been enjoying December very much this year. We've been watching Christmas movies, taking drives to look at Christmas lights, drinking hot chocolate each night, reading Christmas stories next to the light of the Christmas tree, doing Christmas crafts..and the list goes on, you get the idea!

This Christmas has been extra special to Travis and I as parents, to see Marlee start to understand that this time of year is to remember the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. She's still thrilled with the idea of Santa and presents!!! But at least she does know that Jesus was born and we are celebrating that. To hear her talk about Jesus as a baby and tell us how much she loves him is so touching to us. It brings tears to my eyes!
